The Advanced Burn Life Support® (ABLS) program is the American Burn Association’s trusted course for emergency burn care training.

Focused on the first 24 hours post-injury, ABLS prepares clinicians to confidently assess, stabilize, and coordinate care for burn patients — whether in the field, the emergency department, or before transfer.

Certification and Credit

Participants who complete the course receive an ABLS certificate of completion, valid for four years. Physicians and nurses may also earn continuing education credit.
