The Annual Meeting offers many exceptional educational opportunities. We are currently seeking proposals for educational sessions and symposia topics. The call for abstracts to be presented in correlatives and posters will be open in July.
Educational Sessions are two to four hours in length and moderated by experts in the field. Session topics may be targeted at particular topics and/or participants. Examples include: critical care, nursing, rehabilitation, reconstruction or more broad multidisciplinary topics. Sessions should attempt to include a multidisciplinary approach when feasible. Each session has two moderators, typically from different disciplines. The program committee is inviting you to submit full session proposals or suggestions for proposals that the committee could potentially use to create a session. Sessions are delivered Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. Note: Wednesday and Thursday sessions no longer require 4 hours of programming.

Symposia are 75 minute interactive sessions, moderated by experts in the field. Rooms are set with round tables to facilitate discussion and the only AV provided is a flip chart to capture discussion and key points. There are no more than 50 registrants allowed for each session. Attendees are invited to come prepared with their own experience or questions that have surfaced during their practice. Each session has two moderators, typically from different disciplines. Symposia are delivered Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings and during Friday lunch.
The program committee invites you to suggest a topic for a symposia. Moderate suggestions are accepted as well but not required. One of the moderators should be experienced at moderating and the other one can be a novice. All moderators must be ABA members and registered to attend the meeting.
