As we transition to a virtual conference, we are offering four different ways to handle your registration fees from the cancelled Annual Meeting.

Each individual Annual Meeting registrant will receive an email from our registration bureau with information about the original registration and four options for registration funds. This email is scheduled to go out on April 1, 2020. For ease of processing, individual registrants should make selections directly from this email as it is connected to their original order. If your original registration order was part of a group order or an exhibitor order, your administrator will be contacted about these options.

Option #1 – Convert your registration to an ABA Virtual Conference registration.

Much of the excellent, burn-specific content that you were looking forward to seeing will be delivered electronically.  You will have an opportunity to view the slides, listen to presenters and earn CEU credits.  Plus, have access to a special community where you can view all of the posters online and participate in SIG Week.

Once you convert your registration to the lower cost virtual meeting, offering CEU hours, you will have the option to have the difference provided as a refund, or make a donation to support the ABA’s efforts.

Option #2 – Defer your registration.

Commit now to attending the 2021 ABA Annual Meeting in Chicago, April 6-9 and be guaranteed 2020 pricing!

Option #3 – Donate your registration.

Be part of the ABA “DOING MORE” Campaign!

The ABA has come a long way and is doing more to improve quality care, burn prevention, advocacy, education, research and you, our members.  The ABA Annual Meeting, partnering with its exhibitors and sponsors, has been a key ABA program and has helped regain financial stability over the past few years.

The cancellation of this meeting, just a week before, will have a negative impact due to contracts and obligations for the meeting work that was done.  We are confident that the ABA can again rise to overcome these challenges with the help and support of our members.
