You are invited to contribute abstracts for the 21st Annual Southern Region Burn Conference and participate in this platform for oral and poster presentations designed to promote dialogue within all burn care disciplines, at all career stages. This meeting will provide an informed vision of current practices and emerging advances to make a difference in burn care delivery across the global community today.
The Planning Committee will build upon the foundation of the past twenty years to provide a forum offering evidence-based medicine, treatment modalities, rehabilitation advances, disaster planning, prevention education, research, outreach programs, and burn unit’s work-in-progress from across the United States. The exhibit hall promises to be another valuable resource to broaden your knowledge beyond the classroom.

Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) Course
The Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) Courses provide guidelines in assessment and management of burn patients from the scene of the burn injury through the first 24 hours post injury. The courses are open to MDs, RNs, LPNs, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, therapists, and paramedics, fire service and other emergency care personnel.
