Earlier today, CMS issued a final rule on “Pathways to Success,” the proposed overhaul of Medicare’s National ACO Program. The rule would expand access to telehealth services, allow ACOs to offer incentive payments for patients that achieve better health outcomes, and reduce the amount of time new ACOs can remain in the program without taking accountability for health care spending from six years to two years.
